How Does a Myoelectric Prosthetic Work
A myoelectric (robotic) prosthetic is a prosthesis controlled by electric sensors fitted inside the prosthesis, that can read muscle movements when the prosthesis is worn. When the sensors read muscle movements, depending on how you move them, they get converted into intuitive movements of your myoelectric prosthetic. Myoelectric or robotic arms allow individuals to have more hand movements. With the NexTech arm you can make use of up to (TBA) different grip modes for daily tasks.
